Commercial roofs are designed to protect businesses and industrial buildings, offering durability and energy efficiency. These roofs come in various materials, including metal, TPO, and EPDM, tailored to withstand heavy use and harsh weather conditions. Choosing the right commercial roofing ensures long-lasting protection and cost-effective energy management for your building.
Choosing the right commercial roofer is crucial for the long-term success of your facility. A reliable roofer not only ensures quality installation and maintenance but also becomes a trusted partner in safeguarding your building’s infrastructure. Their expertise helps prevent costly repairs and maximizes the roof’s durability and energy efficiency.
Shingle Roof / Asphalt Roof
Shingle roofs are a popular option for commercial buildings due to their affordability, versatility, and ease of installation. Asphalt shingles, in particular, offer durability, weather resistance, and are available in various styles to match different architectural designs. With a lifespan of 20-30 years with proper maintenance, they provide long-lasting protection. Shingle roofs are lightweight, making them easier to install without requiring significant structural support. Additionally, they offer good insulation and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of commercial properties, making them a practical choice for businesses looking for reliable roofing solutions.
Metal Roof
Metal roofs are known for their durability, longevity, and energy efficiency, making them an excellent investment for commercial properties. Commonly made from steel, aluminum, or copper, metal roofs can last 40-70 years, outlasting many traditional roofing materials. They offer superior resistance to fire, wind, and hail, providing enhanced protection against harsh weather. Metal roofing also improves energy efficiency by reflecting solar heat, reducing cooling costs. Available in various styles and finishes, metal roofs can enhance the appearance of commercial buildings. Additionally, they are environmentally friendly, often made from recycled materials and fully recyclable at the end of their lifespan.
Flat Roof / Rubber Roof
Rubber roofing for both commercial and residential roofs provides many benefits. On low-sloped or flat roofs rubber roofing is the best choice in terms of longevity, cost and practicality. With rubber lasting up to 30-40 years its a better choice than rolled asphalt for homes – which typically last 3-5 years (in our experience). While shingles repel moisture on pitched roofs using gravity to carry water away they have seams and don’t create a watertight seal needed to protect a low-pitched or flat roof from water and may create ‘ice dams’. For residential or commercial, flat or low pitched applications a rubber roof is the only choice.
